Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle accounting duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Handle payroll processing, including calculating employee wages, taxes, and deductions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll distribution to employees via direct deposit or checks.
  • Process payroll adjustments, bonuses, and commissions as required.
  • Prepare and file payroll tax returns and other related documents.
  • Generate financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities.
  • Utilize QuickBooks and Service Titan proficiently for accounting and payroll tasks.
  • Input and manage financial data accurately within these software platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with software procedures and best practices.
  • Ad hoc tasks from the client

Qualifications

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, including AP, AR, and payroll processing.
  • Experience in handling US payroll.
  • Proficiency in using QuickBooks and Service Titan for accounting and payroll functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze financial data accurately.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in performing accounting and payroll tasks to ensure accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Undergo 3 days of paid training. If there’s an urgency for the role, then the new hire must render an hour of paid OT before or after the shift for 3 weeks.
  • Amenable to work Monday through Friday between 8 AM – 5 PM US Pacific Time Zone(PST).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) are preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Service Titan, with the ability to utilize advanced features for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific accounting principles and payroll regulations, particularly within the client’s sector.
