Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide timely and effective technical assistance and support to internal users facing software and IT system issues. 
  • Utilize advanced spreadsheet formulas and functions in Excel and Google Sheets to optimize data analysis and reporting processes. 
  • Translate business problems into technical solutions, identifying and implementing effective resolutions. 
  • Perform routine data processing tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively with non-technical stakeholders to understand their needs and provide appropriate support. 
  • Document and track technical problems to identify patterns and ensure thorough resolution of issues. 
  • Create comprehensive documentation of troubleshooting processes to facilitate training for non-technical staff and reduce recurring errors. 
  • Ad hoc tasks from the client.

Qualifications

Requirements & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role, with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving software and IT system issues. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including demonstrated experience with complex formulas and functions. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and address complex technical issues. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly when interacting with non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity. 
  • Ability to effectively document troubleshooting processes for training purposes. 
  • Undergo 3 days of paid training. If there’s an urgency for the role, then the new hire must render an hour of paid OT before or after the shift for 3 weeks.
  • Amenable to work Monday through Friday 8 AM – 12 NN Pacific Standard Time.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in data analysis or reporting, with a focus on optimizing processes and improving efficiency. 
  • Certification or training in technical support or related fields. 
  • Experience in providing technical training or support documentation for non-technical staff members.
